Canes Travel Baseball season has concluded for Cordell senior Tucker Priebe. Following a tough weekend for the Cordell athlete, Priebe has shown immense dedication and hard work toward bettering himself as an athlete and baseball player.
This past weekend, July 21-22, Canes Oklahoma 2024 battled at the plate in the Perfect Game Midwest 17U National Championship in Kansas City, MO. The weekend’s first game for the Canes Oklahoma 2024 took place at Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, KS, on Friday, July 21, at 3:00 pm. Despite Priebe extending the lead to 3-1 with a single hit in the top of the third inning, Canes Oklahoma 2024 fell short 5-6 against their opponent 17U Mac N Steitz-Dickerson. The second game competition was against Nebraska Prospects 2024 Scout 17U. As stated in a Game Changer Media article, Priebe led Canes Oklahoma 2024 with two hits in three at-bats before ultimately being defeated with a 9-0 loss.
Saturday morning started with a challenging game against 17U Cavaliers - Maroon at Mid-America Sports Complex - Royal/Fenway in Shawnee, KS, resulting in an 8-1 loss. Priebe, along with other teammates, each collected one hit for Canes Oklahoma. Despite the fall, Canes Oklahoma 2024 was dexterous and didn’t commit a single error. Triumph occurred Saturday afternoon for Canes Oklahoma 2024 with a 10-3 win against Strike Zone 17U Sprague. After winning, Game Changer Media stated, “Canes Oklahoma 2024 were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Priebe made the most plays with 11.”
During the Perfect Game Midwest 17U National Championship, Priebe struck out once.
