Cordell Memorial Hospital

A Message from Melinda Laird, CEO/CNO

I want to begin by saying “Thank you” for all the congratulations and acknowledgment for receiving the Rural Health Leader of Oklahoma 2022 from the Rural Health Association of Oklahoma. It was a great honor and one that I appreciated very much and was humble to receive it. As with all things I truly know that it takes a team and the great team at CMH is who I want to recognize today. At the time you enter the building whether by the front door or the ED, you are our priority. The business office, nurses, Radiology/ Lab, housekeeping, kitchen, facilities, CMH clinic, physician and providers are here for you, working as a team to care for our community. They are the Health Leaders of Oklahoma.

November we begin with the installation of the new 64 slice CT scan equipment. The Radiology/ Lab team has been involved with the removal of the old equipment and replacing with the new. After the replacement there was education and training with the software for the staff. In moving forward we will be sharing information with providers about the expanded CT testing we will able to provide at CMH.

Later this month we will begin the process of expanding the wound program at CMH. We be providing weekly outpatient wound care and also able to provide inpatient wound care to the long term patient with advanced wounds.

In continuing the recognition of employees at CMH, the month of November we are highlighting the business office. Please check our Facebook page for their pictures and stories.

We are continuing to look at ways to provide more to our community, please let me know if you have suggestions on what we can do for you. Please call 580-832-3339

For your health and wellness,

Melinda
