Cordell Memorial Hospital

We are in the last week of October and it has been a busy month. It is great that we are ending with some rain to help with crops and with allergies.

CMH will be ending October with the replacement for our CT machine and replacing with a new 64slice CT that will provide images that are clearer as well as the capability to provide screenings that we have not had in the past. The previous CT machine has been in place for a number of years and has served it’s time well. Technology moves forward and we want to provide you with the current equipment for screening and treating you.

Information about the new machine and its ability is provided to the physicians and providers in Cordell and surrounding communities. It is exciting that this will be available this year, starting in November. When you see physicians/ specialists outside of the area please let them know that you can have your CT at CMH.

October is also the time of year that the flu vaccine is available and we want to encourage you to get your flu shot. The CMH Family Clinic has the flu vaccine and is available to provide to you.

You will see when you visit the Family Clinic that there is renovation occurring in the clinic. We are updating areas of the clinic that have been needing updates and will also be updating the air system, all to be completed by the end of the year.
