The Miss Washita County Fair Pageant will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cordell School Auditorium. The deadline to sign up to participate is August 9th. The pageant is part of the Washita County Free Fair.

Cowden graduates celebrate 38th Annual Cowden School Reunion

Cowden School Alumni recently gathered for their 38th Annual Reunion. The festivities began at 2:00 on Saturday July 6th, 2024 at the Cowden Community Building with 35 attending. Everyone brought side dishes and/or deserts, Double6 from Weatherford provided the meat.

Cordell Class of 1984 holds 40th anniversary gathering in OKC

Cordell’s graduating class of 1984 celebrated their 40th Class Reunion on Saturday, June 29th. They met at the Colcord Hotel in Oklahoma City. A great time was had by all attending.
