Greg Giles shares a life of faith and learning in new book

Celebrate the joy of faith, life, and learning as Cordell’s own Greg Giles officially launches his new book Wisdom about Wisdom. The book launch party will take place on Tuesday, June 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Cordell Baptist Village, located at 712 E. 12th Street.

Guests can enjoy an evening of insight and hear a live reading from the book; those who purchase a copy will have the opportunity to get it personally signed by the author. To sweeten the evening, desserts will be served, quizzes will add a fun twist, and a book giveaway will round out the celebration.

Wisdom about Wisdom was born out of Giles’ profound life experiences and reflections during the COVID-19 pandemic. The book represents a four-year writing journey, capturing timeless truths about what it means to live wisely in today’s world.

Giles is no stranger to life across cultures. Alongside his wife, Jean, he has embraced the call to serve and teach around the globe. Their life together has included missionary work in Liberia, teaching in China, and raising a family in Bemidji, Minnesota. Between global travels and local commitments, including serving as superintendent of Corn Bible Academy and their current part-time roles at Corn Heritage Village, the Gileses have found “home” in many places; yet, they now happily reside in retirement in Cordell.

Celebrate the launch of Wisdom about Wisdom, a book shaped by decades of faith, service, travel, and a passion for truth.
