4-H - SHARE THE FUN!

Washita County 4-H Share-the-Fun Talent Show was held Monday, January 27th at the Burns Flat-Dill City (BF/DC) High School. The BF/DC Junior and Senior 4-H Club hosted the event with Kathryn Sirmon emceeing and presenting ribbons with Korben Gossen. Working behind the scenes were Heather Raleigh, Chrystal Kovacs, Abby Sirmon, Waverly Schneberger and Wren Schneberger. Others who assisted were Anna Makuch, Kelli Hine, Larissa Mason, and Erin Schneberger. The talent performed included skits, singing, dancing, martial arts, and playing instruments and the piano. The 4-H Share-the-Fun is a platform for youth to showcase a talent, build confidence in front of an audience and have a friendly competition with their peers. This event also involves cooperation with their group and working through technical difficulties and nervousness. Cloverbud Division included a large group act from Burns Flat/Dill City. Participating were Henley Hargis, Coraline Jones, Kamden Parker, Karder Parker, Elly Perez, Ruby Perez, Easton Saurer, Logan Saurer, Wren Schneberger, Elaina Venable, Harper Williams, Rhett Williams, and Tobias Williams. Cloverbud individuals included Chase Peck from Sentinel and Benaiah Miller from Cordell.

Junior Division Large Group first place was Burns Flat/Dill City Group 1 (Baseball Boys) with participation from Conley Braddock, Case Hargis, Declan Miller, Kason Parker, Levi Saurer, Whitten Schneberger, Drew Walker, and Maverick Jones. Second place was Burns Flat/Dill City Group 2 with Conley Braddock, Keira Busby, Case Hargis, Brenna Miller, Declan Miller, Kason Parker, Levi Saurer, Waverly Schneberger, Whitten Schneberger, June Venable, Maverick Jones, Drew Walker, Cooper Newberry, Aspen Flannery, Jaxson Schulte, and Jocelyn Schulte.

Senior Division Large Group first place and champion was from Cordell with participation Casen Wood, Jett Wood, Josiah Miller, Bailey Gossen, Kendallyn Gossen, Korben Gossen.

Junior Division Small Group first place went to Katherine Wright and Delia Elliott from Canute. Second place was Isabella Aguilera, Berkli Collins, Lakelyn Casey, and Emma Mowles from Sentinel. Third place was Lakelyn Casey and Isabella Augilera from Sentinel.

Senior Division Small Group first place and champion went to Heather Raleigh and Kathryn Sirmon from Burns Flat/Dill City.

Junior Division Individuals first place and Champion Delia Elliott, Canute; second place was Keira Busby, Burns Flat/Dill City; and third place was Case Hargis, Burns Flat/Dill City. Additional participants included Josiah Miller, Cordell; Kendalynn Gossen, Cordell; Casen Wood, Cordell; Macie Hall, Canute; Shaelynn Peck, Sentinel; June Venable, Burns Flat/ Dill City.

Each champion participant will also be recognized at the Washita County 4-H Awards Program in August.
