Talented piano students perform recital at Baptist Village

The sounds of music filled the air at Cordell Baptist Village recently as seventeen students from the Danielle Shaw Piano Studio (Cordell) and In Pitch Piano Studio, owned by Brian Marshall (Corn), presented a delightful recital. The event showcased the hard work and dedication of young pianists from the community.

The recital featured a variety of musical pieces, demonstrating the students’ diverse talents and skills. Family and friends of the performers filled the venue, offering enthusiastic support and applause for each performance.

Following the recital, the celebration continued at Cordell First Baptist Church, where students and their families gathered for a festive after-party. Warm hot cocoa and fun games provided a perfect opportunity for everyone to relax and socialize after the exciting performances. The joyful atmosphere was a testament to the strong sense of community fostered by the studios and their families.

The success of the event was made possible through the generous support of several key individuals and organizations. Special thanks were extended to the Cordell Baptist Village for graciously hosting the recital and to the Cordell First Baptist Church for providing the space for the post-recital gathering. Their hospitality created a welcoming and comfortable environment for all attendees. A special note of gratitude was also given to David and Arlene Epp for their invaluable assistance in transporting the bounce house, which undoubtedly added to the fun and excitement of the after- party. The organizers also expressed their sincere appreciation to the parents who volunteered their time and efforts to help with the party setup and activities. Their contributions ensured that the event ran smoothly and was enjoyed by all.

The combined efforts of the studios, the host venues, and the dedicated volunteers created a memorable experience for the young musicians and their families, highlighting the importance of music education and community involvement.
