Washita County Commissioners Minutes

Now on the 30th day of September 2024, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Chairman Goeringer calling the meeting to order.

Chairman Goeringer asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call. Roll call was answered by Gossen, present; Goeringer, present; Chandler, present.

The Board reviewed the minutes of the previous regular meeting. Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the minutes as presented. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the blanket purchase orders as filed in the County Clerk’s office. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to sign the Proclamation recognizing October 7-12, 2024 as National 4-H Week with the 4-H club members present. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the application for eligibility for the Federal Property Donation Program to receive federal surplus property for District 1. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Chandler seconded by Gossen to approve the quote provided by Ford Audio to repair the equipment in the Courtroom. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to sign the Detention Transportation Claims for reimbursement to the Washita County Justice Center for the months of May, June, July, and August. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes. Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to sign the Request for Reimbursement Payment for the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) for the 4th quarter of FFY23.
