SEE YOU AT THE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL!

This year’s Pumpkin Festival promises to be like, totally rad! The 1980’s are considered by many to be one of the best decades in history, with bright clothes, fun music, great movies, and cool cars.

Start the festivities early with a showing of the 1985 hit ‘Back to the Future’ at the Washita Theatre on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. Admission is set at the vintage ticket price of just $3. There will be no movie Friday night, but the nostalgic movie fun continues on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with The Goonies, also $3. Saturday night the theatre will be closed to allow everyone to attend the opening of the Cordell Fire Department’s Haunted Morgue.

As a special treat, there will be a concert in the Pocket Park at 4:30 p.m. by The Talk of the Town Orchestra, brought to you by the Cordell Arts & Humanities Council. Listen to favorite tunes in the Big Band style by this group of talented musicians. Bring your lawn chairs. You do not want to miss this musical event!
