Starting tomorrow, May 15, 2024, FEMA’s Disaster Survivor Assistance team will be conducting a thorough canvassing of the region impacted by the tornado on April 30th, 2024. FEMA representatives will be knocking on doors throughout the affected area and will be easily identifiable by their attire featuring the FEMA logo, accompanied by nametags, and equipped with tablets. Their role will be to help individuals sign up for assistance through FEMA. Kindly be aware that while they’re here to assist, FEMA personnel won’t be entering homes and are unable to access properties displaying “No Trespassing” signage or harboring unrestrained dogs.
