The Cordell Beacon recently hosted a Fall Decorating Contest. There were two categories: business and residential. Winners in both categories received $50. The winners in the residential category came down to two finalists, which resulted in a tie between Kevin and Debra Hougland and Jim and Rayma Balzer. Harper Vet stole the show with creative and spooky window paintings in our business category. Harper has donated their winnings to CASP - Cordell Animal Shelter Project.
