One more week to go before the Pumpkin Festival in downtown Cordell. This will be the 36th year for it.
The food for the baking contest has to be entered between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. judging will be at 9.
On October 8th at 3:45 p.m. at the First Baptist Church the Christmas Cantata practice begins. Everyone is invited to be in the service. There is a contest going on in town to find the Best Fall Decorated home and business. Judging will be October 13th so get out and look at all the work everyone does to keep our town beautiful. To start the Pumpkin Festival activities will be a parade at 10 o’clock with the Pride of Cordell Marching Band, floats, costumed marchers and lots more. Don’t miss a single minute of the day. Get ready to have a great time!!
