With the summer season coming to a close, so is the Cordell Public Pool. Saturday, August 13, will be the final day to swim for the remainder of the year. Saturday’s pool hours will be from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. and will be a free swim day. Free hotdogs will be served with an extra side of fun.
“As my second year running the pool everything went really smooth this year. Midnight swims were fun. We averaged over 200 people each night and I hope to add a couple more next season,” said Cordell Pool Manager, Candace Dudgeon.
“During the summer you meet a lot of really great kids. I will miss them and I look forward to seeing them next summer and see how much they have grown.”
Cordell Pool and Code Blue are still accepting school supplies for Cordell’s teachers. Supplies or money donations can be dropped off at the pool up until 6:00 p.m. on August 13.
