Student enrollment dates set for Washita County schools

The new school year is fast approaching along with new and regular student enrollment, some of which have already started. Listed below is the enrollment information for Washita County Public Schools, Cordell, Sentinel, Canute and Burns Flat-Dill City.

Cordell new student enrollment for elementary, junior high and high school will be held on August, 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Regular enrollment will take place August 3rd for PreK through sixth grade from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., seventh grade through ninth grade from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., 10th grade through 12th grade from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m..

Sentinel returning student online enrollment will continue until 31st of July. The primary contact of said student(s) is who will need to do the online enrolling. If those who are completing the enrollment do not know their username and/or login for Wengage Online Gradebook, can email pcombs@sentinel.k12. ok.us for assistance. Visit www.wengage.com/Sentinel to begin enrollment. Following login, click on “Student Record Portal” then proceed to “Enroll Student – 2022-2023”, repeat steps for each student that requires enrollment, excluding PreK students who pre-enrolled in April.

Parents/Guardians who do not have internet access may pick up enrollment forms inside the container hanging next to the dropbox outside of the west doors to the high school. Hard copy enrollment forms will need to be completed and returned to the dropbox before July, 31.

New student enrollment will be held August, 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.. New students are required to being necessary documents showing proof of residency, birth certificate, shot records and social security card in order to proceed with enrollment process.

Burns Flat-Dill City junior high and high school enrollment will take place on August 1st for 11th through 12th grade, August 2nd for ninth grade through 10th grade, and on August 4th for sixth through seventh grade from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m..

Elementary pre-enrollments packets that were picked up Tuesday, July 19 and Thursday, July 21, will need to be returned the week of August 1st.

Canute’s new student enrollment is open through an online portal, Gradebook. Parents/ Guardians must create an account in order to proceed to enrollment. Steps for enrollment through the online portal are as follows: login to Gradebook, click on “New Student Record Portal”, proceed to add new student, follow that steps (steps one, two and three), ensure all information is correct and click “Submit to Site”. Lastly, complete the lunchroom application.
