On Thursday, Jan. 27, Bessie native Matthew Goeringer was awarded Employee of the Quarter by the Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC). Out of over 700 OTC employees, Goeringer was one of seven valued employees to be presented the 4th QTR ALL-STAR Award for 2021, which is an amazing accomplishment that recognizes his hard work and dedication.
Georinger received the award at the Governor’s mansion during a luncheon in Oklahoma City. “It makes me feel really good and happy that my supervisors nominated me for this and I was able to win it,” said Goeringer. “I did get some recognition through the state for it and we got to have lunch at the Governor’s mansion so that was really nice.”
Georinger has worked for the OTC since 2017. He is currently the analyst equalization specialist where he provides support to county assessors around the state of Oklahoma. The OTC publicly congratulated the awardees saying, “Hooray for our fourth quarter ALL-STARS! These dedicated employees work hard behind the scenes to lead by example and improve agency operations, one task at a time. Thank you, ALL-STARS!”
