What better way to welcome the New Year than with snow! As harsh winter winds crept in on New Year’s Eve so did the dusting of snow. Cordell woke up to about 1-2 inches of snow according to the National Weather Service on Saturday, Jan. 1. Although the snow was light and fun, the cold temperatures were not. Temperatures dropped down to ten degrees New Year’s Day. ABOVE: Haley Venable captured this photo of ice on a tree branch.
