Washita County accident injures Snyder woman

A commercial vehicle accident occurred about 6:30 a.m. on Monday, December 13 at the intersection of OK-54 and OK-152 eight miles east of Cordell.

Stephenie Ann Golden, age 53 of Snyder was driving a 2015 West Star semi northbound on OK-54 when she failed to stop at the stop sign of the T intersection with OK-152. She drove through the intersection and struck a utility pole north of OK-152. Golden’s vehicle rolled over, coming to rest on its top. She was pinned for approximately one hour before being freed by the Weatherford Fire Department by use of the Hurst tool. She was then airlifted from the scene by AirEvac and flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in guarded but stable condition with whole body injuries.

The Weatherford Fire Department was assisted by the Cloud Chief Fire Department and the Washita County Sheriff’s Department.
