Sweet Leaf Medz dispensary in Canute was broken into on Saturday, May 30.
Two suspects can be seen on the dispensary’s video surveillance footage as they appear to break the window to the front door entrance before entering the shop.
The suspects appear to be wearing gloves, glasses, hoodies, and face covers as they are seen entering the shop on the surveillance footage. One of them then goes off camera and the other jumps over the counter.
Another surveillance camera shows one of them entering a room with a flashlight as they then appear to put something into their pockets before seemingly reaching for the camera and knocking it over.
Items stolen include cannabis concentrate, slow-burn extract, and R+R Gummies. When asked, Sweet Leaf Medz said there was a “substantial amount of money taken.”
The two suspects have not been caught, and Sweet Leaf Medz is currently working with authorities on this ongoing investigation.
The Washita County Sheriff’s Office has asked that people call 580-832-2370 if they know the identity of the suspects or have any information about the break-in.
