Cordell FFA Sporting Clays Team Competes At State

Cordell’s FFA Sporting Clays team traveled to Arcadia last week to compete in the state competition at the Oklahoma City Gun Club. The junior high team, comprised of Danny Schmidt, Shane Perkins, Andru Kraber, and Thomas Reimer finished in seventh place overall.

The Cordell Blue Devils hosted the Tigers of Mangum for their final game of the 2019 season. The young Blue Devils team fought hard during the first quarter and into the second, but experience and a much deeper bench collected their toll and the Blue Devils fell, 56-7.

The final set of games were played at Rader Park in Weatherford. We had one team go undeated this season. This team was the u8 girls Wildcats, coached by Kyle Baker. It was a successful season as a club with lots of development and fun.
