Cordell football coach Zane Trammell has been ruled out from coaching Friday’s second-round playoff game against Thomas because of a positive COVID-19 test.
“It’s really bad timing,” Trammell said. “I will not be participating Friday night. It is what it is. So yeah, that's kind of where we're at.

Golf Fundraiser for Scott Hines Goes Well

A golf fundraiser for a Cordell native who has been battling COVID-19 for more than two months exceeded its goal, the coordinator of the tournament said this week.
The fundraiser for Scott Hines was held last Saturday to help the family with their expenses during his long hospital stay.
