Featured athlete: Kuehne credits parents for his success on and off field

Senior Raydon Kuehne is no stranger to hard work, earning himself the nickname “Steady Eddy” for his consistent success both in the classroom and on the field.
Raydon is the son of Nikki and Rob Kuehne, who have been his biggest supporters and toughest coaches for as long as he can remember.

The Lady Blue Devils went 0-3 last week, unable to bring home a single win.
After a week of being pressed hard by some of the top teams in the district, Head Coach Jana Rogers believes her team will be stronger and develop better endurance.

With flaming red hair and a go-getter attitude, senior Brady Reimer can be spotted from a mile away.
On Saturdays and Wednesday afternoons, Reimer can be found working at his father’s shop, Mike’s Meats.
Reimer loves working with his father, even though they don’t always see eye-to-eye.

Devon Christian wrestles in a match last season. A knee injury in football derailed his wrestling season this year, but he is helping he team as a manager.

Christian moved to Cordell from Lindale, Texas, last August.
While Christian was no stranger to moving around Texas, this was his first time leaving the state.

Featured Athlete: How Bode Gallagher became a Blue Devil

Senior Bode Gallagher is a “do-it-all” kind of athlete, making himself well known by Cordell football and basketball audiences since 2014.
The Gallagher family moved to Cordell from Enid in the summer between Bode’s sixth- and seventh-grade years.
This uprooting was hard on Gallagher.
