Martin Richard Green

Jan.1, 1942– April 23, 2025

On April 23, 2025, the world lost a hardworking man. Martin Richard Green, born January 1, 1942, in Cordell Oklahoma and left this life the way he lived it- with a stubborn strength, a warm heart, and a lifetime of memories shared with those he loved.

Richard found joy in the simple things that made life beautiful. He loved the sound of old country music, the kind that told stories and soothed the soul. He was happiest near horses, out fishing on a quiet evening, or just driving down long country roads, soaking in the world one mile at a time.

He had the gift of conversation- he could talk to anyone, about anything, and often did. His persistence, though sometimes trying, was part of the strong, steady spirit that carried him through lifo’s hardships and joys. Beneath that stubbornness was a heart full of loyalty, love, and a fierce devotion to his family.

Richard is survived by his children, Marty Green, Shania Green, Shon Oliver, and multiple grandchildren. He now joins his beloved son, Nathan Green.

Richard’s legacy is not just in the memories he left behind, but in the lessons he taught: to love deeply, to speak boldly,. to appreciate the small moments. and to never give up, no matter what life throws your way. A celebration of Martin’s life will be held in the days ahead. His laughter, his stories, and his unwavering spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever .
