Kyle David Dobbs, 49, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away on March 27th, 2025. He was born on August 27, 1975 in Rocky , Oklahoma to David and Damaris Dobbs . Kyle was born and raised in Rocky, OK, where he went on many childhood adventures with his siblings and cousins. In 1987, he moved to Riverside, California, returning to the Cordell area in 1996. Kyle worked along side his father as a welder in the oilfield.
Kyle was united in marriage to Jimmie (Thomason) Dobbs in Weatherford, OK in 2004. His happiest time was being married to Jimmie for 10 years. Kyle was in the process of obtaining a bachelors in English Literature from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. During this time, reading and literature became his passions. His biggest passion was the love of his labrador Theo.
Survivors include: Mother, Damaris Dobbs, Cordell; 2 Sisters, Yvonne (Dobbs) Hughes and husband Curtis, OKC, OK; Savannah (Dobbs) Dahl and husband Trond, Cordell, OK; Brother: Andrew Dobbs, Chattanooga, TN. He was a wonderful uncle to 4 Nieces: Emily (Hughes) Clere, Genevieve “Evie” (Hughes) Morgan, Sophia Dobbs, and Josephine Dahl, and 2 Nephews, Ian Hughes and Ryan Hughes. He also leaves behind 2 Great Nieces, Aurora Clere and Chyanne Hughes.
He is preceded in death by his Father David Ray Dobbs.
