Pajama Drive deadline extended to December 15th

The season of giving is in full swing, and Cordell Elementary’s annual pajama drive—led by the ever-dedicated Mrs. Powers—has officially been extended. Families now have until Monday, December 15th, to donate new pajamas for children in need.

Each year, Mrs. Powers and her husband, Travis, gather the generous contributions from students, staff, and community members before delivering them to Oklahoma City, where they are distributed to brighten the holidays for countless kids. The extension offers the community even more time to step up and support the heartwarming tradition that has made a lasting impact year after year.

Those wishing to participate may drop off new pajama sets at Cordell Elementary during regular school hours. All sizes are welcome, from toddlers to teens.

If you haven’t had the chance to contribute yet, there’s still time to make a difference. Join Mrs. Powers and the Cordell community in spreading warmth and comfort this holiday season.
