A Special Meeting of the Washita County Commissioners was held on December 4, 2025 in with Chairman Gossen calling the meeting to order.
Chairman Gossen asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call. Roll call was answered by Gossen, present; Gray, present; Chandler, present.
The Board was advised by Attorney, Mike Fields, to enter into executive session for the purpose of confidential communications between a public body and its attorney concerning a pending claim, or action (Washita County case no. CV2025-65: Washita County Assessor v. Washita County Commissioners and Washita County Excise Board) if the public body, with the advice of its attorney, determines that disclosure will seriously impair the ability of the public body to process the claim or conduct a pending investigation, litigation, or proceeding in the public interest; pursuant to 25 O.S. §307B(4).
Motion made by Chandler seconded by Gray to convene into executive session at 9:02 a.m. Gossen, yes; Gray, yes; Chandler, yes.
Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, stated the minutes had been taken during the executive session, were sealed, and would be placed with the other executive session minutes of the County. No action was taken.
No discussion or action was taken on Washita County case no. CV-2025-65: Washita County Assessor v. Washita County Commissioners and Washita County Excise Board.
