    The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Indiana Pacers 103-91 in a nail-biting Game 7 of the NBA Championship Series Sunday night, June 22nd. This was the first championship in OKC franchise history. Oklahoma City mayor David Holt immediately announced the 2025 Champions Parade, held Tuesday morning. Thousands of fans descended upon downtown OKC for a chance to see their favorite players. Locally, Sarah Lau of the Cordell Chamber of Commerce put together a celebratory event at the Washita Theater which livestreamed the parade.
