The Western Plains Library System is ready to splash your summer with color, curiosity, and fun! From May 27 through July 11, readers of all ages are invited to dive into this year’s Summer Reading Program: Color Our World—and new this year, adults can join the adventure, too!

Here’s what’s in store: June 2–6: Spaghetti Eddie!
Get ready to sing, dance, and laugh along to catchy, exciting tunes for kids!
June 9–13: Rocky Mountain Puppets Puppetry meets imagination in a wild, whimsical, educational show that will leave everyone smiling.
June 16–20: Mad Science Art-splosion It’s a science lab meets art studio! Learn how science and art go hand-in-hand with wearable tech, AI, and explosions of color.
June 23–27: Will Stuck A former children’s librarian turned storytelling superstar, Will will charm the crowd with humor, heart, and a whole lot of book love.
July 7–11: Extreme Animals What’s better than a book about animals? Real animals! Don’t miss this up-close, hands-on grand finale with fascinating creatures and wild facts.
