Marylin Sue McNatt Tierce, age 72, died peacefully October 21, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, after several months of failing health.
She was orn to parents JR & Laurel Latimer McNatt, March 16, 1950 in Elk City Oklahoma.
Marylin attended her first year of school at Foss until it closed then transferred to Canute where she graduated from in 1968. She then moved to Oklahoma City and attended Rose State College.
After graduating from college she was hired at Seagate Corporation where she worked for 32 years.
During her time at Seagate she met the love of her life, David Tierce. They were married on February 5th, 1983.
They spent most of their life together traveling, camping, visiting family in and near Foss, Oklahoma. However, the highlight of their travels was the time they went to Australia!
Marylin was a wonderful dog lover of Rusty & Reggie whom she never left home without her companions.
Marylin loved all her nieces and nephews and took them to many places, including Six Flags and Great Wolf Lodge and trips to multiple states. Marylin is preceded in death by parents JR and Laurel McNatt, husband David Tierce, and special friend Cecilia Schones.
She is survived by her sister Sherry Hall and husband Larry of Foss, her brother Jack McNatt and wife Kathy of Foss, Nephew Kevin Hall and wife Amber of Canute, Niece Mechelle Hohnke and husband Brad of Foss, Niece Rhonda McNatt and friend John Williams of Canute. Two great nieces, Kimberly McNatt and Keisha Hall Walker, three great nephews Matthew McNatt, Christopher McNatt, and Dylan Hohnke. Special Friends Sue Smith, Shelley Richter, and Charlene Duncan. Marylin is also survived by numerous close friends from over her lifetime.
Funeral services for Marylin were held Wednesday, October 26, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Foss, Oklahoma, Pastor Michael Larson officiated. Interment followed at Foss Cemetery.
