Cheryl Elaine Wise, 72, of Rocky, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021 in Elk City, Oklahoma. She was born on January 12, 1949 to Henry and Manie (Cunningham) McAbee in Rocky, Oklahoma. She accepted Christ at an early age.
Cheryl grew up and graduated as salutatorian of her class in 1967. October 28, 1967 she married the love of her life Larry Wise, they resided in Rocky together for 54 years. She worked at the Sentinel furniture store for 14 years, Jacks Flowers and Funeral Home for 12 years, and Terry’s TV & Appliance for 2 years. She loved to go to the casino, cook, go out to eat, and spend time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband Larry of the home, son: Shawn Wise and wife Deanna, Rocky, OK, grandchildren: Cody Wise and wife Victoria, Cordell, OK, Zachary Wise, Rocky, OK.
Great-Grandchild: Liam Wise, Cordell, OK
Siblings: Carolyn (McAbee) Gray, Rocky, OK, Henry McAbee Jr. and wife Linda, Elk City, OK, and numerous nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, twin brother Jerrel Dwayne, and brother-in-law Jerry Gray.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2021 at Lone Star Cemetery, Rocky, OK.
Visitation: 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021 and 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 5, 2021. Under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell.
