Oct. 15, 1967- July 31, 2021
Kurtis Reed Hoefar, 53, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on July 31st, 2021 at his home.
He was born on October 15th, 1967 to Bill and Dolora (Reed) Hoefar in Cordell, Oklahoma.
Kurtis grew up and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell High School in 1986.
He spent his working life in the oil field working as a Flow Hand.
Kurtis loved music and poetry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially when his daughter Kira, was with him, and he also took her to several baseball games.
Kurtis loved to have cookouts for his family and he was an avid OU fan. He also had a love for Harley motorcycles.
Kurtis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his best friend/daughter, Kira.
Survivors include his daughter, Kira Hoefar of Cordell, Oklahoma; sister Kris Patton of Cordell, Oklahoma; brothers Kevin Hoefar and wife Susan of Lone Oak, Texas and Keith Hoefar and wife Candi of Rocky, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Kurtis was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Dolora Hoefar and his brother-in-law, James Lee Patton.
Memorial service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021 at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Cordell.
