A total of 975 people attended the event, showing their support for the local fire department. Of those, 856 enjoyed their meals inside, while 119 took advantage of the to-go orders served via pickup on the west side of the gym. Volunteers rolled and served an impressive 1,000 pounds of sausage balls, ensuring no one left hungry.

The Bessie Fire Department, comprised of 13 dedicated members, expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support. “Thank you to the surrounding community that helps us put on this event. We couldn’t do everything ourselves,” the department stated.
