Mountain View Free Fair continues the tradition July 31- Aug 2

The Mountain View Free Fair will begin on Thursday, July 31 and run through Saturday evening, August 2, 2025.

The Fair operates Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with special entertainment and live music on each evening. Local volunteers run carnival rides and games starting at 8:00 p.m. each night. Local arts, crafts and gardening exhibits are also on display in our exhibit building beginning at 7:00 p.m. each evening.

The Fair also features livestock events with a Hog show on Friday night and a Sheep and Goat Saturday evening; judging for each begins at 6:00 PM.

Home-town food booths are a major attraction for visitors and will be in operation beginning at lunch each day and with special meals each evening. Menu items range from hamburgers and Indian Tacos to full course dinners each night – and the homemade pies and ice cream are a treat any time.

Saturday is a special Fair day, beginning with a parade at 10 a.m. The parade will be led by an Air Force Honor Guard from Altus Air Force Base.

Assembly for the parade begins at 9 a.m. by the High School building and everyone is invited – all antique and classic cars, tractors and other vehicles as well as horse riders and all area fire, law enforcement and emergency response units. Floats are also encouraged and cash prizes for the top three floats are awarded following the parade.

Good fun, exciting rides, live entertainment, all in a friendly small-town family atmosphere. The Mountain View Free Fair is sponsored and operated by the Mountain View Fair Board.
