The Cordell Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the return of one of the most anticipated summer events, the Hometown Celebration, scheduled for Saturday, June 28th, at the Washita County Activity Center. This all-day, family-friendly celebration promises something for everyone, from high-energy live entertainment and local shopping to delicious food and fireworks!
Whether you’re a lifelong resident or a first-time visitor, the Hometown Celebration is your chance to experience the heart of Cordell in full swing and listen to some great tunes.
Speaking of tunes, this year’s live music lineup is sure to bring the crowd to its feet. Brought to you by the Cordell Arts and Humanities Council, the stage will feature performances by Talk of the Town, Those Cats from Out West, and the Biskitheads.
Then, as the sun sets, the grand finale lights up the sky with the Red, White, and Boom Fireworks Show, presented by the City of Cordell and the Cordell Fire Department.
This is only the beginning. Be sure to pick up your weekly edition of the Cordell Beacon for more updates as we count down to June 28th! In the coming weeks, we’ll dive into games, contests, vendors, and other surprises planned for the Hometown Celebration.
