First Baptist Church Cordell will host the Cordell Community Choir musical ‘Hope In A Manger’ Sunday, December 7th at 5 p.m. Seven area churches have supplied around forty voices to perform the songs, bursting with the theme of the Hope that was made real to the world on the night that the promised Messiah was born. And just as the shepherds of old ran into the city of David to tell the world of this Hope they had seen, we can in turn do the same this Christmas and every day! Come celebrate a group of uplifting, reflective, and encouraging songs with your community! There will also be a ‘Hanging of the Greens’ service, in which representatives from participating churches will each hang a wreath symbolizing the beginning of the Christmas season. After the service, there will be a potluck fellowship. Bring a favorite snack to share and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
