Homecoming Week is in full swing, and students are showing off their school spirit in the most creative ways! From dressing up as their favorite movie and book characters to rocking Adam Sandler-inspired outfits and even going all out for Name Day, the halls have been buzzing with excitement.
The fun hasn’t stopped yet! Thursday is Blue & White Day, so be sure to show your Blue Devil spirit by wearing your Cordell colors loud and proud.
On Friday at 2:00 p.m., the community is invited to gather downtown around the courthouse for the Homecoming Parade.
After the parade, stick around on the courthouse lawn for speeches from players and coaches, plus a few special words from the Homecoming Royalty!
Don’t forget, there’s still time to purchase tickets for the Cordell Band’s Spaghetti Supper. The meal will be served on Friday, September 19, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Cordell High School Cafeteria. For just $10 a plate, enjoy a delicious meal of spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert, and a drink. It’s a delicious way to support the Cordell Band before the big game!
Then, make your way to Blue Devil Stadium for the Homecoming Coronation at 6:00 p.m., followed by kickoff at 7:00 p.m. as the Blue Devils take on the Strother Yellowjackets.
