There is going to be a wonderful fireworks show at the airport on the evening of the 1st of July sponsored by the City and the Cordell Fire Department. Last year was great so I am sure this year will be too! Everyone is invited.
I don’t like the fact that the untility bill is going up but after being without electicity for two and a half hours during the storm on Friday I will glaldy pay it without griping. We are very lucky to live in a community that owns its own electric department.
Summer is here and there is lots to do. Remember the movies on Monday afternoons at 2 p.m. when the pool is closed. Also check out the book reading at the local library, ball games at the ball fields, and enjoy our beautiful park and tennis court. The golf course is another place you can enjoy.
