Commissioners Amend Resolution Calling for Alcoholic Beverage Vote

In a special meeting held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, the Washita County Commissioners voted unanimously to amend the resolution which authorized the calling and holding of an election for the purpose of permitting the retail sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink for on-premises consumption.

The approved ammendment excludes sales on Sunday and any other holiday exempted by State statute.
