Coronavirus Cases Continue To Increase

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to sweep across Oklahoma, with the state reporting record numbers of new cases during the past week. As of Thursday, July 30, 35,740 confirmed cases have been reported in the state, up from 28,802 on July 23.

Washita County is reporting 23 total cases of the disease, up from 14 just one week ago.

Burns Flat is the hardest-hit community in the county, with eight total cases. Sentinel and Cordell report four cases in each community. Dill City has three cases, Corn has two, and Canute and Bessie each report one case as of July 30.
