The Cordell Blue Devils had a rough go of things last week, dropping two games to Mangum and one to Navajo, but walloping Blair at their own tourney.

Cordell started the week at home Monday against the top ten ranked Mangum Tigers. In a runrule shortened game, the Tigers walked off the field with an 11-0 victory. Sophomore pitcher Ryan Neeley took the loss on the mound, throwing four strikeouts and walking six. Drayton Maddox recorded a double and James Ivy added a single for Cordell’s only hits in the game.

The Blue Devils traveled to Navajo Tuesday, and suffered another big loss, 16-3. Paxton Switzer took the loss on the hill, but also hit a double in the game. Koby Celsor and Brady Reimer also each contributed singles in the effort.
