Faye Franklin, 85, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Dec. 24, 2018. She was born on May 17, 1933, to Roy and Alta (Cupp) Mosier in Dill City.

Faye grew up and attended school in Dill City, she met and married the love of her life Jimmie M. Franklin in Dill City. Faye stayed at home and raised her children then she worked for a short time at Stan’s Clothing Store. She also loved to sew, cook and travel with her husband Jimmie. They have traveled to 48 of the 50 states. She also loved going to all of her grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities. Faye was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Woman’s Organization. Faye will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Anderson (Steve) of Carnegie and Debra Purdum (Mike) of Weatherford; daughter-in-law Starla Franklin of Blanchard; grandchildren Mandy Lewis (Danny) of Skiatook, Kirk Anderson (Jonathan), Kevin Anderson (Karie) of Blanchard, Sam Arnold (Elizabeth) of Littleton, Colo., Stephanie Arnold (William) of Weatherford, Connor Franklin (Rhonda) of McKinney, Texas, Cole Franklin of McKinney, Texas, Brant Purdum (Kacie) of Elgin, and Garrett Purdum (Jessica) of Yukon; sister Diane Brown of Dallas, Texas; brother-in-law Stanley Franklin of Kellyville; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jimmie M. Franklin; son Jimmie W. Franklin; three sisters, Joyce Moore, June Walker, and Patsy Mosier, three brothers, Raymond Mosier, Victor Mosier, and Jimmie Mosier.

Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m.until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, and from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Cordell. The funeral was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home Chapel in Cordell. Interment is at Lawnview Cemetery in
