Lions Club Gives Quarterly Citizenship Award

The Cordell Lions Club last week announced the recipients of its Citizenship Award for the second nine weeks of the school year. Each nine weeks, teachers from each of the third through sixth grade classes at Cordell Elementary School nominate two students from their classes for demonstrating exceptional citizenship behavior by being responsible, caring, and considerate to their fellow students.

Two of the nominees are then named as the trophy award winners for the nine weeks. This quarter’s nominees were Daxton Nixon, Tralyn Moss, Colin Dixon, Faith Ballinger, Andrew Willard, Kaziah Wilson, Mackinlee Brunker, Isabella Doughty, Maci Thain, Axton Zarecki, Rainey Cooper, Tyler Caneterberry, Jackson Eldridge, Cayli Harris, Addison Rich, Morgan Dixon, Mya Wess, Madi Maddox, Emma Christian, Elanor Gatlin, Kaylin Holt, Kylie Fuller, Rhyan Ramirez, Annie Schmidt, Border Dodd, and Britton Shields.
