There was a special moment at the football game against Hollis on Friday night which highlighted the life lessons that can be learned from team sports.

With the Blue Devils holding a 41 to 14 lead with just under six minutes to play, the Hollis coach called a time out.

“We had arranged this earlier,” said Cordell Head Coach Dustin Beasley. “There was a good possibility Hollis wouldn’t have the ball again since our run game had been so effective, so this was the time for Hollis to put in their special player.”
