Phillip Leo Walters, 81, of Foss, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on October 16, 2018. Leo was born on March 25, 1937 to Henry Phillip and Myrtice O'Hara (Lauderdale) Walters. He grew up and attended school in Burns Flat, Oklahoma, graduating in 1955. After high school Leo attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He served in the United States Army as a Fire Direction Specialist and was stationed in Germany from July 25, 1956 to June 27, 1958. Upon returning home he met and married Agnes Mobley. They wed on October 30, 1959 in Elk City, Oklahoma. Leo worked for Shell Oil from 1959 to 1964, He owned and operated Walt's Auto Supply from 1965 to 1975. The store was located in Burns Flat and Altus, Oklahoma. In 1975 they moved back to the family farm. They farmed together until he retired in 2014. He loved the Lord and spending time with his wife, family, and grandchildren. Leo enjoyed farming, being outdoors, fishing, and traveling. He pursued his love of cars and racing through his auto parts business and building engines. Leo will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife: Agnes Walters of the home; three Daughters: Serena Krieg and husband Jerry of Keller, Texas; Bronwyn Werts and husband Ron of Callisburg, Texas; Jennifer Weatherstone & husband Andrew of Denver, North Carolina; two Sons: Alec Reeder and wife Diana of Gutherie, Oklahoma; Jeffery Reeder and wife Christa of Choctaw, Oklahoma; four Grandchildren: Madison Werts of Callisburg, Texas; Landon Werts of Callisburg, Texas; Lauren Weatherstone of Denver, North Carolina; Elizabeth Weatherstone of Denver, North Carolina.
