County Commissioners Discuss Options Following Closure Of Sentinel Ambulance Service

At the January 22, 2018 meeting of the Washita County Commissioners, Ricky McPherson of the District Attorney’s office was present to discuss the closure of the Sentinel Ambulance and the effects that closure would have on the sales tax money for the ambulances, along with a service coverage plan for that area.

In accordance with the ballot measure, the fund earmarked for the ambulance services, both current account balances and future amounts, will now need to be split between the two remaining ambulance services, Cordell and Burns Flat.
