Several members of the Cordell Chamber of Commerce gathered on Monday, October 2, 2017, to celebrate the ribbon cutting at one of Cordell’s newest businesses, Gatlin’s Garage, located at 610 East Main Street. Cutting the ribbon is business owner Kyle Gatlin, with his wife, Brooke, standing to the right. Others at the ribbon cutting are, on the back row, from the left: Billy Gatlin, Kyle’s father; Larry Bostwick, Kyle’s grandfather; Ulyssius Emerson, service technician; Jim “Cooter” Schmidt, service technician; Jeremey Goodson, shop manager; Brooke Gatlin, Aleta Jorgensen, and Ronnie Smith. On the front row, from the left, are: Landon Hise, Jean Bostwick, Kyle’s grandmother; Becky Law, chamber president; Kyle Gatlin, Jan Byrd, chamber secretary; and Mira Burrows.
