Cordell Council Delays Vote On Hiring More Police

After a lengthy discussion concerning the need for more police officers in the Cordell department, council members postponed a vote for five months in order to gather more financial information.
Council representative Darryl Anthony had requested the possible hiring of a sixth officer be placed on the voting agenda.
