Funeral services for Viola Moser, 91, Clinton resident, were held on Monday, May 15, 2017, in the Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Jerry Lamb. Burial followed in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Viola Katherine (Dick) Moser was born March 29, 1926, to Gottfred and Anna (Friedrich) Dick in Clinton, Oklahoma, and passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017, in the Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton, Oklahoma. Viola was raised in Washita County, on the family farm. She attended the Malson Country School, and later graduated from Clinton High School in 1943. She married Gentry Moser on May 5, 1946, in Bessie. They made Clinton their home. Viola kept the books for Moser Auto Parts for over 50 years. She was a longtime faithful and active member of the Peace Lutheran Church, where she was the pianist and organist, for over 25 years. Viola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Harvey Donald Dick and Paul Dick. She is survived by two sons, Wil Moser, and Darrel Moser and wife, Vicki, all of Clinton; and a brother, Gilbert Dick, of Clinton; six grandchildren, Charlie Moser, Lori Paris, Ami Needham, Mandi Leonard, Tamie Moser and Brian Schulz; and nine great-grandchildren, Rex Paris, Ellen Paris, Mattie Ryan, Jackson Needham, Gentry Needham, Eli Schulz, Benjamin Schulz, Dillon Schulz, and Lucas Schulz.
