Gregory Alan Cooksey was born January 9, 1970, and went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2016. Greg was born to the late Billy Wayne Cooksey and Kathern Darline Cooksey. He grew up for awhile in Atoka, and later the family moved to Oklahoma City. At the age of 17 Greg joined the Army where he served for five years. Greg learned to play drums, bass and acoustic guitar. He was a jack of all trades, working all kinds of jobs. While working at the Hobart Sale Barn, he was kicked by a cow and became disabled, leaving him unable to work. In 2001, Greg met his soul mate and best friend, Alma Srock, they were later married on March 21, 2003. Greg was a fun loving and happy go lucky kind of guy, who never met a stranger. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, fishing and just hanging out with his friends and family. Greg was the happiest when his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren were around. He will be loved and missed by a host of family and friends. Greg was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Kathern Cooksey and one sister, Stella Eardman.
