Ronnie Woodard was born March 22, 1954, in Mena, Arkansas, to Mary Lee Kelley Coffey. He became the son of Bob Coffey on April 14, 1960, when Bob and Mary were united in marriage. Ronnie passed away on September 23, 2016, at his home in Gotebo, after a courageous 14-month battle with lung cancer. Ronnie moved to Gotebo when he was less than one year old. He graduated from Gotebo High School in 1972, and started farming and raising cattle in the Gotebo area in 1974. Ronnie was a Christian and felt blessed to be able to farm God's land and raise God's cattle. He enjoyed playing the guitar, the piano, and writing gospel songs. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Mary Coffey; and his brother-in-law Venoy Foust. He is survived by his loving sister, Sarah Foust of Rocky, Oklahoma; two aunts, Faye Parks of Mountain View, and Helen Lindsey of Lawton; one uncle, Grady Kelly of Vinita; his very special cousins who helped him through his journey, Allen Wiebe, Michael Rice, Kelley Hilburn, Becky Law, Robin Thurman, Shelly Hoenshell, Khristy Russ, and Kasey Kelley; special caretaker, Donna Franklin; and friend, Tab Terry. Graveside services were held Monday, September 26, 2016, at the Odessa Cemetery, North of Gotebo, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Hobart, Oklahoma.
