Jerry Dudgeon, 58, resident of Cordell, Oklahoma, was born on October 9, 1955, in Cordell, Oklahoma, to Raymond Emery and Pauline Florence (Dooley) Dudgeon, and passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013, in Cordell, Oklahoma. Jerry was born and raised  in Cordell. He attended Cordell schools, graduating in 1973. He married Marilyn Mueller on March 12, 1976, in Clinton, and to this union, three children were born. Jerry had spent most of his career working in the oilfield with family and close friends. He had also worked for the Bessie Co-op for several years and had farmed. Jerry enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and horseback riding with friends and family. He was a martial arts enthusiast and was an OSU Cowboy fan. Jerry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his friends. Jerry had really enjoyed the time that he was
able to spend with his brother, Jeff, over the last year. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Emery and Pauline Florence Dudgeon, and one brother, James Dudgeon in 1993. Survivors include one daughter: Rachel Suzanne Dudgeon of Bessie, Oklahoma; two sons: Jason Dudgeon and wife, Candace and Joshua Kenneth Dudgeon and wife, Chrissy, all of Bessie, Oklahoma; one adopted son: John Lyles and wife, Ezamar, of Mustang, Oklahoma; five sisters: Viva Clothier and husband, Chuck, of Clinton, Oklahoma, Mary Forbes of Hobart, Oklahoma, Enith Roberta Dudgeon of Childress, Texas, Mavis Cupp of Cordell, Oklahoma and Betsy Ardry and husband, Wayne, of Hollis, Oklahoma; six brothers: Terry Dudgeon and wife, Frieda, of Cordell, Oklahoma, Larry Dudgeon and wife, Jody, of Lexington, Oklahoma, Gary Dudgeon and wife, Shirley, of Corn, Oklahoma, Johnny Dudgeon and wife, Bonnie, of Bessie, Oklahoma, Jeff Dudgeon  and Deadra Buffing, of Cordell, Oklahoma and Lee Roy (Dude) Dudgeon and wife, Lisa, of Weatherford, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; a host of dear nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held for Jerry Dudgeon at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 3, 2014, at the Bessie Peace Lutheran Church, Bessie, Oklahoma, with Pastor Rob Spicer, officiating. Services were under the direction of Musick-Varner Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma
